Benji Arrigo (he/him/his) is a theatrical artist based out of New York City. Originally from outside of St. Louis, Missouri, Benji graduated in the Spring of 2022 with a BFA in Theatre Design & Technology from the Dobbins Conservatory at Southeast Missouri State University.

Understanding how things work – from the latest in technology to musical theatre plot devices, and using that knowledge to create something new for audiences is his core mantra.

Published in USITT’s Tech Expo in 2019 for his creative integration of LEDs into costumes, Benji continues to expand his knowledgebase in order to contribute to the cutting edge.

Currently, Benji is focused on becoming a valued video and lighting associate and programmer. On the side, he does small to medium scale network and computer design for creative environments. In the future, Benji hopes to gain in MFA in either Lighting or Video design.
